The SR-100 Technology
Sensory signals provide critical information about the environment and the position of the body to the brain and are required for the planning and execution of movements.
For those who live with proprioceptive deficits, these signals may lack the strength and clarity they need. Accelera’s patented technology has been shown to enhance these signals and improve movement, function, and freedom.

The Science Behind the SR-100
Many systems rely on interdependent signals to perform.
For instance, a driver sends a signal to an automobile to turn left, or an incoming call sends a signal to your phone to ring. The human body is no different: our muscles rely on the sensory signals of force and position to operate in an ideal state. For many people these signals are too weak to be detected; this negatively impacts functionality.
Accelera’s technology adds a spectrum of random frequencies and amplitudes to boost these signals and maximize information transfer for SR-100 wearers. The effect enhances proprioception.
What is Proprioception?
Proprioception is the body’s ability to sense joint position, movements, and actions. (It’s sometimes described as the “sixth sense.”) A simple example of healthy proprioception is the ability to touch your nose with your eyes closed.
Different types of proprioceptors are activated depending on limb velocity and movement, load on a limb, limb limits, and joint position. The central nervous system integrates this information to create an overall representation of body position, movement, and acceleration. This information informs motor planning as well as automatic corrections when the motion is being performed.
Proprioception is the body’s ability to sense its location in space and movements. Examples include being able to walk or kick without looking at your feet or being able to touch your nose with your eyes closed.
When an individual’s proprioception is compromised due to illness, injury, or other conditions that affect the muscles, nerves, and brain, it can cause long-term or permanent proprioception impairment. As we age, we also experience a loss of proprioception which commonly results in compromised gait and balance.
Introducing the SR-100
The first wearable technology that is comfortable and is intended to enhance proprioception using a science known as stochastic resonance. Based on years of research, development, and testing by leading scientists, this technology is now available.
How the SR-100 Works
A spectrum of random frequencies called stochastic resonance (SR) forms the basis of the SR-100 wearable device’s technology. It delivers gentle, random vibrations to help enhance sensory feedback and improve the wearer’s proprioception.
Stochastic Resonance (SR) can be broadly described as a natural phenomenon where the presence of random noise in a nonlinear system results in improved output signal quality
compared to the absence of noise (McDonnell & Abbott, 2009). When the white noise and the original signal are both present, the signal is amplified. This process increases the
signal-to-noise ratio, making the original signal more distinguishable. This phenomenon, as it improves a signal, enhances proprioception which results in improved body awareness and movement.
SR has been tested. If an individual is experiencing any of these limitations, the science and research behind the SR-100 can help. Leading scientists and researchers have confirmed the benefits of SR in improving:
- Balance
- Gait
- Cerebral
- Abnormal Tone

Supporting Research
Research has demonstrated the ability of this patented technology to support neurological function in children with cerebral palsy, as well as SR studies showing improvements in function balance and gait, proprioceptive recovery after joint injuries, and more in other subject populations. The SR-100’s technology has been demonstrated to improve the tactile and proprioceptive (joint angle) senses in people with CP and other neurological disorders.
The SR-100 simply delivers this science to the body in a comfortable, and wearable format.
